MABFAN NEWSLETTER # 27 (February 2001)

Michael A. Burstein's "Friends Across the Net" Newsletter

Very short newsletter this month.

_OUT RIGHT NOW_

As I kept promising, my story "The Cold Calculations" is now out in the Spring 2001 issue of ABSOLUTE MAGNITUDE. The Bob Eggleton cover was inspired by my story, and it's a cool painting. You should be able to find the magazine at newsstands or bookstores that have a periodical section.

_UPCOMING APPEARANCES_

The Boskone convention will be next weekend, February 16-18, at the Sheraton hotel in Framingham, Massachusetts. Nomi and I will be there, and I am on quite a few program items. Although these items are subject to change, here's what I've been assigned to:

Hope to see some of you there!

_SHAMELESS PLUG_

Don't forget that Hugo nominating ballots are due by the end of March, and I published quite a few stories in the year 2000...
